Provincial Final
No one expected us to make it this far. We travelled to Edmonton to play the Saints RFC. I wore a massive donut pad and defended at fullback to try to protect my shoulder. A few decisions went against us in the first half and we were trailing 20 nil at the break. It proved to be too much to come back from. We lost 20-7. One of these pics shows my chance for grand final glory, I went for the corner but got smashed over the sideline by a front-rower. This was the first time I've played in a grand final and not the result I was hoping for. Oh well, maybe next year.
